Committed to serving individual artists as well as arts organizations in
Florence County and equally embracing performing, visual, literary, folk,
traditional, multidisciplinary, media, and all other artistic expressions as they
may exist and/or emerge, the Florence Regional Arts Alliance will engage in planning, coordination, communication, promotion, development, facilitation, programming, and advocacy with respect to the arts in general as well as arts projects, activities, programs, and events in particular so as to insure a
vibrant arts community in Florence County for the education of its children as
well as the enjoyment and edification of its residents.

The Alliance is a non-profit corporation organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes under the provisions of Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Service Code of 1986 and South Carolina Code Ann. 33-31-101 et seq.  The Alliance is registered as a Charitable Organization with the State of South Carolina, Office of the Secretary of State, Public Charities Section. 

The Alliance is affiliated with the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce and the South Carolina Arts Commission.  The Alliance is supported by the City of Florence, Florence County, and the South Carolina Arts Commission, which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts, as well as by contributions from Florence area Corporations, Businesses, and Individuals.
